The Cleveland Cavaliers have looked pretty lethal these past few weeks, wiping the floor with their hapless opponents. Between LeBron James and Kevin Love, the team has enough fire-power to compete with anybody in the league.
Now add a 28-year-old scoring superstar to the mix, it’s easy to see why the Cavs’ best days are ahead of them.
After hip issues sidelined him all summer long, Isaiah Thomas‘ debut with the Cavs was delayed. Nobody knew for sure when he’d come back either, only that he’d return sometime after the New Year.

Finally, though, it appears that an official return date has been recognized, and it’s coming very soon. According to Shams Charania, the Cleveland point guard is targeting the first week of January to make his season debut. This no doubt comes as welcome news to Cleveland fans, as the team has been on a tear.
His return will bring about some interesting questions as the season rolls on. Where does Kevin Love fit in? Can Isaiah return to his Boston form? How much better will the Cavs really get?
Bearing those concerns in mind, it’s safe to assume that everyone will be paying more attention to the story as things continue to progress. Regardless, things will get pretty intense when this superstar finally makes his debut.
