What more does the man need to do!?

After perhaps one of LeBron James’ most impressive NBA seasons in his illustrious career, the new Los Angeles Laker was presented as the cover athlete for NBA 2K19, the newest installment in the 2K basketball franchise.

Given LeBron’s insane regular season and playoffs this past season — playing in all 82 regular season games, averaging a career-high in rebounds and assists per game, leading the league in minutes per game, as well as carrying the depleted Cavaliers to the Finals for the fourth year in a row — you would think that he would be rewarded with a 99 overall rating in the game his face is on the cover on, right?

Wrong.

2K Sports actually gave James a 98 overall rating, one short of the presitgious 99 rating he’s been given only once in his career, with the Miami Heat.

There’s no doubt that LeBron will easily be the highest-rated active player in the game, and it’s more than likely that James will put in another excellent season with the Lakers, pushing his overall rating up one more point.
