Lakers President Magic Johnson says the Warriors do not cost him any sleep at night.
On Jimmy Kimmel Live, he explained his mentality about the challenge of beating the dubs, and why he’s not sweating that challenge:
Magic: "I'm a competitor, so I'm not scared of GS, I'm not worried about GS. They don't keep me up at night. I think we have a really good, competitive, tough-minded team. We have winners. LeBron brings a championship mentality. So does Rondo." He also mentioned JaVale's 2 rings.

After signing LeBron James to a four-year deal, the Lakers made a flurry of… questionable free-agent signings. Among the list were names like Rajon Rondo, JaVale McGee, Lance Stephenson, and (most recently) Michael Beasley. Those guys aren’t superstars by any stretch, but they offer the Lakers a degree of toughness and heart that not many teams will be able to match.
Talent-wise, the Lakers don’t match up with the Lakers or Celtics. Heck, they might even lose to a team like the Raptors or Rockets in a 7-game series. With the pieces they have, though, coupled with Magic Johnson’s persona, you can be damn sure they’ll at least compete. That’s all anyone can ask for.
