Kevin Durant and now DeMarcus Cousins have left their original teams in the chase for success in the form of a championship at the Golden State Warriors. The move from these big named players is always controversial and leaves everyone with their own opinion on the issue.
Portland’s CJ McCollum is no different and has been quite vocal about superstars signing with the Warriors just to win a Championship.
Recently, McCollum spoke in an interview on television about players signing with Warriors to chase rings and how he would never do anything like it
“I would never do anything of that nature. That’s disgusting.”
McCollum has already had a bit of fiery banter and bad blood with Kevin Durant after KD was invited onto CJ’s interview. The two stars engaged in some twitter beef not too long after the interview that involved Durant calling McCollum a ‘snake in the grass’ after he took a shot at Durant for his decision to join the Warriors.
McCollum and the Portland Trail Blazers finished third in the Western Conference last season, one spot behind the Warriors before they were knocked out in the first round to the Pelicans.
What we do know is that it sure will be a fiery contest when the Golden State Warriors and the Portland Trail Blazers play against each other for the first time this up and coming season.
