To play professional sports, more often than not, players need to be in peak physical shape and health to perform to the best of their abilities.
Sometimes however, pure size can win out over skills and athleticism, especially in basketball, and there may be no greater case of this than Sofoklis Schortsanitis of Aries Trikala in Greece.
Schortsanitis stands at 6’9 and weighs a whopping 345lbs, but only played nine minutes in the Greek A1 league for the entire season. You may be wondering why the center only played nine minutes for the whole season, and if his weight wasn’t enough of an indicator, here’s how Schortsanitis looked for the entire season.

If you want more than a picture, here’s a 10 minute-long video of Schortsanitis’ first game in over two years.
Schortsanitis recorded six points and one rebound during his return.
