Everything happens so fast in this league that sometimes, it’s not easy to catch up with all of the breaking news insiders are constantly reporting, especially for most casual NBA Fans.
Every now and then, a new trade rumor pops up and even if it doesn’t end up falling through, fans and media tend to overreact and overhype some moves that are reportedly bound to happen but wind up being mere speculation.
That’s why we’re going to go ahead and just let you know the hottest trade rumors around the NBA right now, so you don’t waste your time trying to catch up amid all of this chaos.
The Pacers Could Trade Darren Collison Or Cory Joseph
Darren Collison and Cory Joseph are sharing the point guard duties at Indiana, but truth to be told, neither of them offers much upside, while Aaron Holiday has emerged as an intriguing prospect.
According to ESPN, Pacers “is high on” rookie guard Aaron Holiday and is hoping to give him more minutes, the report says.
So, with the team’s management very high on the youngest of the Holiday brothers, they should try and move either Joseph or Collison before the deadline, depending on which one brings more value in return.
Phoenix Suns Have No Interest In Fultz
Several rumors pointed towards the Suns keen to get the sophomore combo guard, but according to Arizona’s John Gambadoro, that just isn’t happening, as the Suns have no interest in taking such a risk.
There have been a lot of people asking about a trade for Markelle Fultz. I will reiterate that I do not see it. From what I am hearing the Suns have no interest in Fultz, no desire to take on him and any issues he has.

There has been a lot of speculation regarding Markelle Fultz’ situation, especially with him reportedly set to miss even more time while nursing the bizarre shoulder injury that has kept him from proving his worth.
According to a league source, the Pistons have interest in Fultz, the No. 1 overall pick by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 2017 NBA draft.
The Cavs Are Reportedly Shopping Alec Burks And Rodney Hood
The Cleveland Cavaliers got a couple of scoring combo guards from the Utah Jazz in Alec Burks and Rodney Hood, but neither of them is really in their long-term plans, especially if they want to tank this season.
According to Brian Windhorst, there is a chance the Cavs will trade guards Rodney Hood and Alec Burks until the February deadline.
Both players are actually solid contributors and could be truly helpful off the bench for a contending team, but they’re inconsistent and injury prone, so they’re going to be tough to move.
Trevor Ariza To LA Is ‘Done Deal’?
A couple of days ago, rumors pointed towards the Los Angeles Lakers being keen to bring back Trevor Ariza to the Staples Center, even though the Suns were reportedly not interested in their trade offer.
Nevertheless, several NBA Executives have already stated that this is a done deal, so Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is likely going to be sent to the desert, along with – at least – one Draft pick.
Boston Celtics Could Get Vucevic
Nikola Vucevic has been playing at an All-Star level all year long, and with him set to become an unrestricted free agent and get paid big time in the summer, it would make a lot of sense for the Magic to try and move him.
So, with the Boston Celtics looking to move want-away point guard Terry Rozier, and Vucevic was already in the Celtic’s radar as they look to improve their scoring numbers, even though they’re not likely to keep him beyond this season. According to NBC’s A. Sherrod Blakely, there’s a huge chance this happens.
Lonzo Ball Off The Table
Lonzo Ball has been involved in pretty much every single Lakers trade rumor, as he’s one of their most valuable trade assets and could help Pelinka bring another All-Star to the Staples Center.
Even so, Amico Hoops’ Ben Stinar has already let everybody know that the Lakers aren’t shopping Ball around the league and that any move involving the sophomore point guard is off the table, at least for the time being.
According to Broderick Turner of the Los Angeles Times, there’s only one condition in which the Lakers would give up one of their four young guys.
Miami Still Want To Deal Whiteside
Hassan Whiteside has proven to be one of the most overrated and overpaid players in the league, and his constant antics have really hurt his trade value. Still, the Miami Heat is desperate to get rid of him.
Even if the team decided to give him a second chance and keep him for this season, it’s clear Spoelstra doesn’t trust him and he’s not doing much to help his chances either. So, according to Amico Hoops’ Sam Amico, the Heat are still trying to find a deal to get rid of him.
Boston Celtics Are The Perfect Destinations For Anthony Davis
Anthony Davis has been involved with a move to the Celtics for years now, as the team has been keen to get him for years but he’s been reluctant to force a move out of the sluggish New Orleans Pelicans.
Boston Celtics are the perfect destination for Anthony Davis, and only Lakers can get Anthony Davis before them.
Even so, it looks like the Celtics have a huge chance to finally land him. Apparently, they have the best trade package the Pelicans could get for their All-Star, including Draft picks, Jaylen Brown, Marcus Smart, and Terry Rozier.
Clippers ‘Obsessed’ With Chasing Kawhi Or Kevin Durant This Summer
The Los Angeles Clippers have been surprisingly good this season, but still, it looks like they’re one star away from being a legit threat in the Western Conference, moreover, they’re going to have the cap space to pursue at least one superstar in the summer.
So, according to an NBA insider, they’re “transparently obsessed” with getting either Kawhi Leonard or Kevin Durant this summer, while also trying to clear enough cap space to try and lure both to the Staples Center.
