As the NBA season rolls on we get a clearer and clearer idea of who will be the MVP. So far I’d say Giannis Antetokounmpo is the front-runner having lead the Bucks to the 2nd seed in the East whilst averaging 26.5 points and 12.8 rebounds on 58.1% from the field. Other players in contention are Kawhi Leonard for the Toronto Raptors and LeBron James of the LA Lakers.

Last season James Harden won the MVP and he feels like he’s being overlooked in this year’s race.

“Of course I should be in the conversation. I receive a lot of hate but it won’t stop me from going out there and killing every single night being the dog that I am.” Harden said when asked.

Harden is currently leading the league in scoring with 32.7 points a game along with 8.3 assists and 5.5 rebounds and 2.1 steals. Harden is certainly making his case as his stellar play has the Rockets back on track, winning 8 out of their last 9 games.

Hopefully,

Eric Gordon can find his stroke again for the Rockets so they can push on and finish as a top 4 seed and fight for a title.
