When it rains, it pours. And even in the midst of some promising looking basketball, the Lakers’ injury troubles continue.
This time it was Lonzo Ball, who had to be carried off the floor following a small collision with James Ennis during Saturday’s game against the Rockets. He never returned to the game, and some are questioning when he’ll return at all.

Good thing is, initial x-rays came back negative, so it makes things a lot more optimistic going forward. Still, with the nature of the injury, it’s hard to picture a scenario where he comes back within the next couple of games.
Per Lisa Salters on the broadcast, Lonzo Ball was taken for X-rays in a wheelchair, still unable to put any weight on his left leg.

With LeBron, Rondo, and now Lonzo dealing with an injury, the Lakers will need Ingram to step up more than ever before. He may not be completely ready, but he’ll have to find a way to step up if the Lakers want to keep their playoff hopes secure.
