Santiago Solari and Isco just don’t get along. They clearly dislike each other, and the way the Argentinean has dealt with his playing time has been kind of disrespectful for some insiders.
Isco would be a great alternative for a Real Madrid side that has struggled to get things going up front ever since Zinedine Zidane and Cristiano Ronaldo left Santiago Bernabeu, but Solari seems reluctant to trust him.
Also, the Spaniard has thrown Solari some shade in social media as well, constantly liking posts from people bashing the Argentinian and the way he’s handled the team following Julen Lopetegui’s sacking.
Now, this never-ending feud keeps getting worse and worse, as Solari just hinted that Isco may need to work harder if he wants to play for Real Madrid.
“I am still working hard and fighting while I wait. You have to do that in training so you are available to play,” said Solari in a press conference ahead of Saturday’s derby with Atletico Madrid.
Moreover, when asked about Isco, he went on to be even more specific, stating:
“A professional footballer has to do his work, which is to train 100 per cent to be ready to play. The team is in good form, all the players are working well in each training session to make sure the team is the most important thing.”
So far, Isco has only made 5 starts in 22 La Liga games for Real Madrid this season, and it looks like his future at Santiago Bernabeu is at huge risk while Solari’s in charge.
