One of the biggest names in basketball right now is a young man who is yet to even enter the NBA, that’s Zion Williamson. The college star has the attention of the league on him as he is still predicted to be the number one draft pick of the 2019 NBA Draft.
Nike is looking to sign Zion Williamson to a massive shoe contract as soon as he makes the NBA, but they may have some competition in signing him up first. Williamson went live on Instagram in Wednesday which he was playing video games in Adidas gear.

According to The Spun, Adidas may actually be the favorite to sign Williamson as he played for an Adidas sponsored AAU team back in High School. The 6-foot-7 forward’s high school team was also once again sponsored by Adidas which would leave Nike just a little concerned.
What also may hurt Nike is that the Duke young star suffered a knee sprain against North Carolina when his Nike sneaker exploded early in the match. Williamson hasn’t returned to the court since and probably won’t return for the rest of the regular season.
Duke have remained solid, winning three of their last four matches without Zion in the team, the side will be one of the teams to beat once the ACC tournament begins.
