Deciding who the best is between Michael Jordan, Kobe Bryant, and LeBron James will be a debate that will forever live on in the basketball world, and Kobe Bryant would like to keep it far, far away from him.
Bryant is generally quiet on the whole topic, but when asked about the GOAT by Mike Greenberg of Get Up, Bryant confessed his thoughts:
“I really don’t care.”

“I moved on. You have a career, you do the best you can. For 20 years I was very fortunate to play. And then you shelf it, you’re done. Move onto the next thing.”
Bryant is onto bigger things, and the 5-time NBA Champion even won an Oscar last year. It seems the Mamba is still shooting venom and wants to take his competitive drive to a new venture.
Either way, the argument has now taken the form of Michael Jordan versus LeBron James – a conversation that is heating up because James is nearing the end of his career. Although, in all fairness, Bryant should be involved in that debate.
Bryant has been compared to Jordan since was first recruited out of high school, so it’s not a new thing to the 18-time NBA All-Star. James was compared to small forwards and other greats, but greatly increased comparisons to Jordan after defeating the 73-9 Golden State Warriors while coming back from a 3-1 deficit.
