Real Madrid are already planning ahead of next season with this mediocre campaign almost in the books, as the team has been left behind in La Liga race behind Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.
Florentino Perez and Zinedine Zidane are trying to put together a superteam for next season go to back to their dominant self, but it looks like some teams aren’t interested in making a deal with the Spanish giants.
Paris Saint-Germain, for instance, seems reluctant to engage in transfer talks with Florentino Perez regarding a potential bid for standout youngster Kylian Mbappe.
Zidane is determined to dress his compatriot in white next season but the French champions won’t entertain the idea of letting him go in the summer, according to La Sexta’s Jose Luis Sanchez.
Moreover, the team won’t even consider making a deal with Los Blancos regardless of how huge the offer is, at least for the time being, as per the report.
Nonetheless, the Spanish journalist reported the team would be more willing to sell him in 2020, so Real Madrid should just turn the page and try to make a run at more realistic targets.
One of those targets is one of Mbappe’s teammates: Neymar Jr. Still, it looks like Zidane’s appointment as Real Madrid’s boss would make it difficult for Los Blancos to pursue the former Barcelona striker.
Should they strike out on Mbappe, Real Madrid will still try and pursue Eden Hazard, Paul Pogba, Lucas Hernandez and even Felipe Anderson, with the team desperate to fix the mess they’ve gotten into since Cristiano Ronaldo left the team.
As for Mbappe, the World Champion will be heavily pursuit in the summer by several teams, him being one of the most promising and prolific scorers in the world.
Will we ever see him play at Santiago Bernabeu?
