Imagine for a second that you are an NBA GM and Zion Williamson is up for grabs. Is there someone you wouldn’t trade for him, or is he already the most valuable asset in the league?

Bill Simmons touched on this same subject, revealing a list on The Ringer podcast of the only six current NBA players he would not trade for Zion: Giannis, Steph, Harden, Doncic, Jokic, Embiid.

All young guys, all franchise-altering stars. Still, it is surprising Simmons did not include guys like Kevin Durant or Kawhi Leonard, who are pretty darn good as well. Is Bill Simmons projecting Zion to be better than these guys, or are they just too old to be worth more than an 18-year-old superstar?

No matter your opinion on the Duke phenom, his impact will be huge. Whatever team ends up with him this summer will have a special talent, to say the least.

In a summer where so much is at stake — from free agency to stars available on the trade block — the draft may just be the most important part of it all. It is not every day that you get a guy like Williamson, who is already (according to Bill Simmons) more valuable than all but six NBA players.
