Fadeaway World

Summer is coming and this year it appears to be one to remember for football fans. In the past, we were able to see how important players went from being idolized in certain clubs to replicate his glories with another one or just to become a good, but not an outstanding asset.

These kinds of transfers don’t happen that often during these days and that’s why this next summer transfer window can be very surprising for many fans.

Whether it is a player looking for bigger challenges, a team trying to acquire a huge player or guys trying to find more opportunities to play, next June will see how every team in Europe is going to try to steal players, make good deals and shock the continent with their new signings. We expect a lot of these signings to happen, but only a few of them can be truly shocking for everybody. Here are the 5 most shocking transfer rumors.

Alexis Sanchez To Juventus

The Italian side has been linked with several players in recent times, as well as rumors about possible departures from the team. One of those guys who can be landing in Turin very soon is Chilean superstar Alexis Sanchez, who hasn’t had the best tenure in Manchester United and now is set to leave the team in order to recover his best shape.

Sanchez is seen by Juventus as a great partner for Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, and if things work out for both part, that could be real this next summer. However, Alexis would have to take a pay cut if he wants to play for the Zebras next season. Sanchez hasn’t been the same since he joined Manchester United more than a year ago; he made himself a known name in Italy with Udinese and now Juve seems to be the best solution if he wants to recover his level.

Antoine Griezmann To Manchester United

After turning down Barcelona’s offer to join the club last season, Antoine Griezmann is reportedly regretting that decision, as the Frenchman is anything but sure about his future with Atletico Madrid. Griezmann signed a new five-year deal with Atletico last summer and even though everything looked great for both the team and the player, that’s not like that according to reports.

Now Barcelona is not that interested in signing the FIFA World Cup champion, but there are other squads in Europe keen to acquire Antoine’s services. Albeit Bayern Munich appears as a very serious bidder for him, Manchester United are considered front runners to get Griezmann; all this comes after the elimination of Atletico from Champions League and the possibility of Lucas Hernandez and Diego Godin leaving the team, so maybe he thinks his time with at Wanda Metropolinato has come to its end.

Neymar To Real Madrid

This move has been in talks for several years now, but this specific one it looks like it will be carried out for once and all. Ever since Neymar started to perform at a very good level in Santos even winning the Copa Libertadores, he was targeted by Spanish giants Real Madrid, who saw how Barcelona stole them the player they wanted to be the future of the team.

Well, that sounds very plausible now, when Neymar isn’t having his best time with Paris Saint-Germain and everything points out that he would be joining Los Blancos next summer. It won’t be easy, for sure, but these two want to merge and this is the best opportunity for it. Maybe this is not a surprise seeing the history between the two parts involved, but Real Madrid paying really big money in order to get Neymar, that would be shocking for sure.

Toni Kroos To PSG

Real Madrid is not only trying to sign, but to sell, as the 13-time Champions League winners will be trying to rebuild a team that seems to be over his prime, as they won everything they could win during the last five years. One of those players who might be looking his way out is German midfielder Toni Kroos, a very important asset in recent years.

According to Daily Mail, Paris Saint-Germain would be willing to pay €68 million for the German star. This comes after French midfielder Adrien Rabiot is expected to leave the Parisians next summer and Kroos is a proved player who knows how to win, something that PSG needs. Both Real Madrid and PSG need to reshape their squads and this transfer would be very favorable for the two of them.

Paulo Dybala To Liverpool

Ok, now this is definitely shocking whether you’re a Liverpool fan or not. Paulo Dybala is seen as one of the best players for the future in football after he enchanted Italy with Palermo and now with Juventus. However, Dybala hasn’t been enjoying himself in Juve this season and that is more visible now that rumors about his desire of leaving La Vecchia Signora have surfaced.

Dybala might be forcing his exit of the Italian side since he has been more on the bench than on the pitch this term, losing his spot as the biggest referent of the team to Cristiano Ronaldo. In the past, he was linked with several clubs such as Real Madrid or Manchester United, but Liverpool has inscribed its name in the candidate list for signing La Joya (the Jewel), valued over €100 million at this moment.

Sadio Mane To Real Madrid

Back in the day, Mane was linked with Real Madrid and especially during Zinedine Zidane’s first stint at Santiago Bernabeu and now that the French boss is back, so is Madrid’s interest in the Senegalese striker, who is having a marvelous season with Liverpool this time, being a important player who helped the team to eliminate Bayern Munich from the Champions League last-16 stage.

Mane is playing at the best level right now; taking the reins of his team and scoring the goals that Mo Salah or Roberto Firminho haven’t been able to score so far. The Senegalese will make a hell of a player for Real Madrid, who is eager to have some explosiveness and speed in the attack. Albeit this is expected according to several reports, Mane would be a very shocking signing this next summer.
