Kobe Bryant is a complete legend when you talk about major competitive sports as the guy retired as one of the best to ever play his sport after all the awards and titles he tallied through his magical career. Nonetheless, there are people who had the guts to play a 1-on-1 with Kobe and actually did it great. It is quite shocking when you see someone like Beyoncé’s dad, Matthew Knowles, bragging about how he bested Kobe in a pickup game a couple of years ago.
Knowles posted a video on Twitter yesterday when he appeared playing ball with the Lakers legend during the shooting of Destiny’s Child’s video for the song “Bug A Boo.” In the clip, you see Kobe missing some shots, while Knowles puts some buckets on Kobe’s head.
Check out this video of me and Kobe shooting some hoops on the Bug A Boo video set. If you know me then you know I love playing ball! 🏀

TMZ Sports had the chance to talk with Knowles on this matter and he didn’t hesitate to show off about his basketball skills, going further and saying if he were given another shot at KB24, he’d beat him no question.
“I told you I can play some ball! 20 years later, I could still take Kobe to the hoop!” Knowles said. “Kobe, I just want to let you know bruh, I think you are one of the greatest — if not the greatest basketball player ever. It was a privilege to kick your ass and I’ll do it again.”
Now we have to wait to see whether Kobe is going to take those words seriously or will let it slip. Many people will surely want to see if Knowles still got it in front of one of the greatest in basketball history. Sometimes you need to teach people some manners after they disrespect you the way Knowles has done with Kobe.
