In the great NBA popcorn debate, does American Airlines Center take home the prize?
In a ranking done by Golden State’s Stephen Curry, he listed the best and worst stadium popcorn. Dallas’ American Airlines Arena takes first, with L.A.’s Staples Center coming in at last place.
Following Dallas is Brooklyn, Miami, Portland, Sacramento, and Toronto. If you want the best foods, that’s your best bet.
Unfortunately for Steph and the Warriors, they’ll be stuck having to eat “meh” popcorn as they play the Clippers in the first round of the 2019 postseason. Obviously, for the Warriors, much more is at stake than some stale popcorn.
As they look to secure their third Championship in three years, they will have to get past some steep competition. Assuming they get past Los Angeles, Houston and maybe OKC or Denver will be waiting in the Conference Finals.
Based on how things end for them, they may or may not see some of their more critical players leave in free agency this summer.
Either way, these are an important couple of months for Golden State as they get tested by a loaded conference that is hungry to see them put down.
But, until then, why not go pop yourself some popcorn?
