Even though it looked like he was no longer a Real Madrid target, it’s been rumored that Neymar Jr would be interested in leaving Paris Saint-Germain and would be thrilled to make a return to Spain, with Barcelona also among his possible destinations.

However, the Brazilian star has finally put those rumors at ease, hinting that he’s not interested in leaving Parc des Princes, at least for the time being.

A lot of questions surfaced from the very second Neymar completed a record-breaking move to leave Camp Nou and join the French champions, with a lot of people claiming that move was partially financed by Real Madrid in order to use PSG as a sort of bridge to Santiago Bernabeu.

Ever since he joined the team, he’s been rumored to join his former rivals, but even Real Madrid legend Ronaldo Nazario confessed a move to Real Madrid was unlikely at this point of Neymar’s career.

His lack of discipline and constant desire to party have raised a lot of questions about his maturity and ability to lead his team to European success, and PSG’s struggles to take a step forward in the UEFA Champions League were rumored to be the reason why he’d be interested in leaving the team in the summer.

Yet, the playmaker will still be under contract until the end of the 2019-20 campaign, and, according to his latest Instagram post, he’s committed to run out his deal at France, just like his father had confirmed earlier in the season.

“See you next time, Ligue 1,” read Neymar’s post.

The Brazilian hasn’t been nearly half as explosive as he was during his time at Santos and Barcelona, but as still managed to become a pivotal piece of one of the world’s deadliest attacking trios with Edinson Cavani and Kylian Mbappe.
