The entire basketball world is talking about Kawhi Leonard’s incredible buzzer-beater in their Game 7 series match against the Philadelphia 76ers. The Raptors defeated the 76ers 92-90 in front of their home crowd last night after Kawhi Leonard’s incredible shot sent the team through to the Eastern Conference Finals.

ESPN’s Max Kellerman has described Kawhi Leonard as the “best player on the planet earth right now” after the superstar’s winning shot.

“Kawhi right now has to be considered the best basketball player, at the moment, could change throughout the next series, at the moment, this dude is the best basketball player on the planet Earth,” said Kellerman on ESPN’s First Take.

Kellerman has always been highly positive about the Toronto superstar so it’s no surprise to see him give so much support to him after the Game 7 match against Philly. The Raptors will now advance through to the Eastern Conference Finals where they will take on the Milwaukee Bucks for a spot in the Finals.

There’s a lot of doubt on whether Kawhi will hang around for another season in Toronto or if he would move back to his hometown and play for an L.A based team. Many believed that he is definitely on his way out but the Raptors are very close to a chance at a championship which may play a massive impact on Kawhi Leonard’s decision.

The look of happiness and excitement on Kawhi’s face after he hit the winning shot was truly magically, the emotion was beautiful to watch and it may be massive in the context of his impending decision.

Game 1 begins this week in Milwaukee.
