Kawhi Leonard may have hit the greatest shot in NBA Playoff history Sunday night. It was a buzzer-beating fadeaway midrange that sent the Sixers home and advanced the Raptors to the Conference Finals for the first time in years.
But despite what was a memorable moment for Kawhi and the Raptors, his heart is still in L.A., according to ESPN’s Ramona Shelburne. On ESPN Los Angeles, she made clear what Kawhi’s priorities will be this summer.
. @ramonashelburne on @ESPNLosAngeles about Kawhi Leonard – “I still think he’s coming to L.A. I think the #Clippers are in the driver’s seat. I’ve thought that for a long time just because he seems to be a guy who wants his own team.”#Lakers

Kawhi’s feeling towards the Clippers have been speculated for months now. His desire to return home and the current state of the team make the Clippers the most appealing candidate for the 3x All-Star.
But everything can change if the Raptors make the Finals or even win the NBA Championship, and the Raptors best case for keeping Kawhi remains how far they can push their team through the postseason. It raises the stakes of the weeks ahead even higher than they already were.
