The Milwaukee Bucks completely overshadowed the Toronto Raptors on Friday night, where they won the second game of the Eastern Conference finals with extreme ease. Led by Giannis Antetokounmpo and Ersan Ilyasova, the Bucks showed how good they actually are and that the Raptors are not competition for them, at least at this moment, and beat the Canadians by 125-103.
One of the most entertaining moments of the game arrived when the 3rd quarter of the game was coming to its end and with Milwaukee leading the score by double digits; Kawhi Leonard was about to shoot a pair of free throws and the Bucks fans didn’t hesitate to mock him, his team and his potential new squad.
Milwaukee supports inside Fiserv Forum start to chant ‘LA’s calling’ as Kawhi was taking his free throws. For those who don’t know, this is a reference to Leonard’s California roots and rumors about his potential move back to Los Angeles.
Even though Leonard finished the night with 31 points, the Raptors were unable to steal the second game of the series and now the Scotiabank Arena will try to give some luck to the team, who wasn’t as good on Friday night as they were in the first match of the series.
It’s well known by anybody who knows about the NBA that the only way to keep Kawhi in Toronto is if they get to the NBA Finals and at least compete against the West representant. If the Raptors fail, it won’t be a surprise if Kawhi and his camp answer the phone when that call from LA eventually comes.
