The biggest name in college basketball right now is Zion Williamson, the Duke sensation is set to join the NBA very soon with the Draft not far away. The New Orleans Pelicans struck gold when they surprisingly won the first pick of the 2019 Draft through the lottery pick.
Zion Williamson is almost guaranteed to be the selected by the Pelicans with the first pick of the draft. However, it’s been speculated that Williamson could force the franchise to trade him to the team of his choice.
Not everyone agrees though, Master P and his son Romeo Miller disagree with that hypothetical. The father/son duo spoke out in a TMZ Sports interview where they offered the young superstar a massive $20 million shoe deal that they hope will outbid the rest and also convince Zion to embrace a future with the Pelicans.
“I know Zion gonna get a big shoe deal from Nike or Adidas or whatever. We gonna get him a deal just to have to wear shoes outside of basketball,” Master P told the TMZ Sports reporter. “Just to wear it on the side, not in the game, I’m saying $20 [million].”
Zion Williamson’s step-father, Lee Anderson, says on the Off the Bench radio show in Baton Rouge that Zion is “excited about the prospect of getting down there and getting settled” in New Orleans & added that returning to Duke “is not something that we have even considered.”

It’s unlikely that this shoe deal offer will have any impact on Zion, the final offer may be extremely high and could rival LeBron James’ original shoe deal when he entered the league.
