After several years of success with Real Madrid, Sergio Ramos’ time at Santiago Bernabeu might be ending in the next months. Following a very good tenure with Los Blancos, Ramos didn’t have the best campaign this one, just like the team, and now several rumors indicate he might be making his way out of the club in the summer.

Reports from Spain have suggested the long-serving center-back is keen to force an exit from the club after clashing with some teammates and staff members throughout a very irregular season for Los Blancos.

Nevertheless, Marca reports that the team’s directive is extremely worried about Ramos’ current situation, and they have urged the team’s boss Zinedine Zidane to do whatever it takes to keep Sergio onboard. Both Zidane and Ramos have discussed this matter and the Frenchman has said he’s “doing all he can” to persuade his captain to see remain in Madrid.

Besides Zidane, the White House’s chairman Florentino Perez does not want to lose a player that has proved over and over how important he is for the team, and his intentions are to meet with Ramos as soon as he returns from his vacations in the United States.

Big teams like Manchester United, Liverpool and Juventus have been linked with Ramos, although Marca says that the only offer he has received so far has come from the Chinese Super League. Maybe a blockbuster move for Ramos is in the making right now with huge teams going after him this offseason.

Nothing is definitely said on this, but perhaps Madrid fans have hopes to see their beloved captain stay in the team, as the situation is believed to be better than in the past, when Ramos was close to signing with Manchester United back in 2015 before he ended up end up extending his contract with the 13-time Champions League winners.
