Like father, like son. Years after LeBron James and Dwyane Wade became teammates together in Miami, they are sending their sons to do the same at Sierra Canyon High School in California.
Bronny James to Sierra Canyon has been a “done deal” for at least six weeks. The other “done deal” is that Zaire Wade, Dywane Wade’s son, who will be a senior next year will join Bronny this coming season at Sierra Canyon.

The same sources confirm that LeBron James toured the school during spring break. No other staff was on campus during the tour.
Bronny will be an incoming freshman in the fall. Zaire is currently attending high school in Florida and will be an incoming senior. Unfortunately, this means we will only get one season of the Wade/James arrangement, as Zaire will be headed off to college next season.
Nonetheless, watching a young version of a famous NBA duo play together is going to be a treat. In fact, Sierra Canyon High might be in the midst of building a powerhouse for next season, with other top recruits like Paolo Banchero and Ziaire Williams likely to join the team.
As for LeBron and Dwyane, they are looking forward to spending more time with each other in Los Angeles this summer, where Dwyane and wife Gabrielle Union plan to be more often now that the three-time champ is retired.
He will be around LeBron more, around the Lakers more, and his son will get to play alongside Bronny James. Sounds like a fair deal to me…
