It looks like Florentino Perez wants absolutely every single talented player in the world right now, as Real Madrid look poised to make a huge splash in this upcoming transfer window after saving a lot of money the past three years.
So, following Luka Jovic’s signing, the team is also reportedly bound to make a move for Kylian Mbappe, Paul Pogba, Eden Hazard, and Christian Eriksen to put together one of the deadliest squads in the world.
That’s why Dani Carvajal looks quite optimistic over the team’s future, as he revealed while on international duty with Spain. About the recently-signed Jovic, the Spaniard had nothing but praise and words of support:
“Jovic is a great (number) nine. I hope he is decisive,” Carvajal claimed during an interview with El Larguero.
Jovic is coming off a breakout year in the Bundesliga and UEFA Europa League, and it’s currently looking like one of the deadliest strikers in the Old Continent for his combination of speed, strength, power, and ability to finish with both feet from within close distance or long range as well.

Moreover, Real Madrid is expected to announce Eden Hazard’s signing any day now, something Carvajal seemed well aware of. When asked about the potential impact the Belgian could have on the team, he didn’t hold back to show his enthusiasm:
“Hazard would add a lot to our attack. He is a player who wants the ball and does not hide.”
Real Madrid definitely need as much help as they can get following a disastrous season under Julen Lopetegui, Santiago Solari, and even Zinedine Zidane, and Carvajal didn’t hesitate to acknowledge how disappointed the team was:
“It was the worst season since I’ve been in the first team. The best thing is that the season has ended. Zidane’s arrival gave us oxygen, but we haven’t had a good reaction either,” the right-back concluded.
