Brazilian midfielder Philippe Coutinho is on the verge of leaving Barcelona this summer after 18 disappointing months in Catalonia. The Magician is expected to receive numerous offers this transfer window and even though he sees some potential bidders with good eyes, there is definitely a team where he wouldn’t like to play.

Coutinho is set to part ways with the Blaugrana, but he but will not move to Manchester United out of respect for his former club Liverpool, claims Sky Sports News. United were monitoring Coutinho’s availability after his valuation dropping significantly ever since he landed in Barcelona from Merseyside, but now discussions have begun between Paris Saint-Germain and Coutinho’s representatives over a summer transfer.

Philippe is currently on international duty with the Brazilian team that is playing the Copa America and everything points out he will wait until the end of the continental tournament before making a decision about his future. Alongside Manchester United and PSG, Chelsea appeared as a potential bidder for the midfielder, but that seems unlikely due to the Blues’ FIFA-imposed transfer ban.

Through one and a half season in Barcelona, the former Internazionale player was booed by the club’s supporters after not delivering as expected given the amount of money the Blaugrana paid for him. This season he scored just 11 goals in 54 appearances, most of them coming off the bench.

That being said, a move to Paris looks like the most plausible option for the Brazilian, either to pair up with Neymar and Mbappe or to replace one of them, who have been rumored to be leaving the club this summer.
