As the days go by, more and more rumors involving Real Madrid see the light. Los Blancos started the summer transfer window the best possible way after securing the likes of Luka Jovic, Eden Hazard, and Ferland Mendy, but now the last piece of the puzzle is missing and the club haven’t made a final decision on who is going to be joining them before the start of the season.
It was reported that the club will complete their summer rebuild with a midfielder, but no one seems pretty sure about who that is. Paul Pogba, Christian Eriksen and even Miralem Pjanic have been linked with a move to Santiago Bernabeu, but so far none move has been completed.
Nevertheless, now Eriksen looks like the favorite one to reinforce Zinedine Zidane’s team and the club is already preparing a bid for the Danish playmaker, who has stated he would like to face ‘new challenges’ next season. The Sun claim the French boss wants Eriksen at the Bernabeu days after he landed Eden Hazard from Chelsea to his ranks.
“I feel that I am in a place in my career, where I might want to try something new,” Eriksen said earlier this month.
“I have the wildest and deepest respect for everything that has happened in Tottenham. But I have also said that I would like to try something new.”
To make that happen, the White House would be willing to pay £45 Million plus Dani Ceballos, who is currently on international duty with Spain at the Euro Under-21 Championship. The Lillywhites have been rumored to be interested in Ceballos for the last couple of months and now they could use that in their favor while selling a player that has stated he doesn’t want to continue in the club.

The Denmark international has only one year remaining in his current contract and the best choice for Tottenham is selling him while they can get a reasonable amount in return.
The former Ajax player has been on the radar of Manchester United, too, but he may prefer a move to Madrid instead of Old Trafford. But, it’s not 100% sure that Madrid will pursue Eriksen, as Paul Pogba remains a huge priority for them this summer.
