Philippe Coutinho’s dream move to FC Barcelona has pretty much become a nightmare at this point, with the Brazilian constantly being jeered and booed at Camp Nou for his subpar performances.

Coutinho joined Ernesto Valverde’s team after completing a huge bid for his services, but the Brazilian has failed to live up to the expectations after completely dominating the English Premier Leauge.

So, with the Catalans bound to try and get him out of his payroll as soon as possible, Le 10 Sport claims the playmaker might as well be eyeing a move back to England and would love to leave Camp Nou in the summer rather than trying to win a spot in Valverde’s XI.

Crazy as it may seem, such comeback would allow him to join Jurgen Klopp’s Liverpool once again, the very same team he was accused of bailing on and faking injuries to force his move to Barcelona.

The Reds have fared quite well without the Brazilian on their ranks, making it to back-to-back UEFA Champions League finals, winning one European trophy and almost putting an end to their league title drought.

Coutinho, on the other hand, has barely contributed to the Catalans’ winning cause after joining the team in order to have a shot at continental domination.

Moreover, Klopp has found a deadly trio up front with Mo Salah, Roberto Firmino, and Sadio Mane, so Coutinho’s unlikely to be a starter at Anfield in case he actually winds up coming back, but the Reds have openly admitted that they’re poised to find more depth for their offense and he might as well be the man they’re looking for.

Manchester United and Chelsea were also reportedly interested in acquiring his services earlier in the season, but there haven’t been any updates on that matter so far and the clock is ticking for him.
