The Charlotte Hornets mourning for the departure of Kemba Walker has ended now that they have secured the landing of Terry Rozier to Queen City. Rozier decided to become a free agent following an overwhelming season with the Boston Celtics and now he’s arriving in a Hornets team with more doubts than certain after Walker’s departure.
According to Shams Charania of The Athletic, Rozier plans to agree to a 3-year, $58 million contract with the Hornets via sign-and-trade with all three years and the $58 million guaranteed for the guard.
All three years and $58M will be fully guaranteed for Terry Rozier in Charlotte, league sources said. https://t.co/1DjsUGzHcn

It remains unclear what Charlotte is going to do after signing Rozier, but now they have more chances to land players after Kemba decided to reject the $170 million offer they placed earlier this week. As for Rozier, now is the time to prove his value with a team that will have plenty of things to figure ahead of next season.
