The Paul Pogba saga continues as the two frontrunners to get his signature are thinking of various ways to persuade Manchester United to part with the French midfielder.

First, Real Madrid were reportedly trying to offer Gareth Bale to United trying to sweeten a potential deal for the Frenchman and now Juventus will try to do the same, but with more assets than Los Blancos.

Pogba has stated his desire to find ‘new challenges somewhere else’ and that has only made everybody go crazy trying to discover where he will play next season, with reports seeing the light every day, contradicting one another.

Now, with Pogba ready to start the preseason, and talks planned between him and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in the next few days, Juventus are stepping up their game to get Paul. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Zebras need to raise funds in order to complete a move for Pogba, who will likely cost over €100 million.

This may happen because of the money they are going to spend on the transfer and salary of Matthijs de Ligt, who is thought to be close to a move to Turin. In order to not mess up with their finances, Juventus are prepared to offer one of Blaise Matuidi, Alex Sandro or Paulo Dybala to United as a makeweight in a deal for Pogba.

Sandro and Dybala have been followed by Man. Utd. in the past, so now may be a good time to sign one of them and end one of the most complicated summer sagas for United in recent years. With Pogba seemingly on his way out, Manchester are looking for options to shield their midfield; Newcastle’s Sean Longstaff and Sporting CP’s Bruno Fernandes are thought to be next on Solskjaer’s shopping list.
