The Golden State Warriors may have lost two-time Finals MVP, Kevin Durant to the Brooklyn Nets but the franchise managed to pick up a very high-quality player in D’Angelo Russell.
Just hours before D’Angelo reportedly signed a four-year deal with the Warriors, the guard was seen driving a very expensive Ferrari out for Sunday brunch.
D’Angelo Russell was caught on camera by TMZ Sports as he entered the passenger seat of incredible black Ferrari and drove down the street.
The new addition to the Warriors team had no interest in answering any of the reporters’ questions about if he was going to become the newest Splash Brother or if the Warriors were still the team the beat. D’Angelo Russell also decided not to send a message to the Nets who have traded him away as they bring in both Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant.
With Irving joining the franchise as the new starting point guard, the Brooklyn Nets were unable to find room for Russell who was an NBA All-Star this season. 2019 All-Star now joins a some-what depleted Warriors team who is now without Durant and will be missing Thompson for at the beginning of next season due to the ACL injury he suffered during the 2019 NBA Finals.
Whether Russell is happy to be apart of the new-look Golden State Warriors or not, he must be pretty satisfied with the set of wheels that he’s been getting around town in.
