Tottenham Hotspur are making some noise this summer transfer window and they apparently plan to keep doing the same. After securing deals for Tanguy Ndombele and Jack Clarke, the Spurs are now focused to land another player who will make their fans really happy.

Counting with the recent arrival of Ndombele, one would think that the Lillywhites are done reinforcing their midfield, but it is exactly the opposite for them, as they are now chasing Real Betis and Argentina midfielder Giovani Lo Celso. The Spurs are said to have agreed to a £150,000-a-week deal with the Argentine youngster and are close to sealing a deal for the playmaker.

According to Estadio Deportivo, the English side has already agreed to a deal with the player himself and now his arrival to the club is just a formality. The report also notes that Betis are chasing around €70 million (£62 million) to let the former Paris Saint-Germain player go this summer. Now it looks like Spurs are finally getting close to a move for the Argentine.

The midfielder had marvelous performances with his side last season, scoring 16 goals and providing six assists in all competitions, turning a lot of heads to him that now are interested in acquiring him. This is a player who can be great at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, even more knowing that Christian Eriksen is on his way out.

If they pull off this move, Tottenham would make a statement for the rest of English, and maybe European teams. After two transfer windows with no signings whatsoever, the Spurs are set to take it all next season.
