After completing the signing of Antoine Griezmann, Barcelona have put their attention to get rid of some players trying to recoup some money from the Griezmann transfer. With several reports also suggesting they are keen to reunite with Neymar, the Blaugrana need to move fast if they want to make a move for the Brazilian star.

One of the players that might be heading through the exit door this offseason is Malcom, the Brazilian winger who couldn’t shine at the Camp Nou. Just like Philippe Coutinho and Ousmane Dembele, Malcom struggled to find his place in Barcelona, not having a lot of chances to display his talents.

With Griezmann’s arrival and the potential Neymar comeback, the former Bordeaux player is thought to be on his way out of the club after a single season, which was terrible for him.

According to Mundo Deportivo, the Catalonians value Malcom at around €50 million, as they attempt to raise funds for a possible Neymar move, despite paying just over €40 million to get Malcom out of France last year.

It’s believed that Premier League side Everton and Bundesliga’s Borussia Dortmund are both willing to pay Barcelona’s asking price, although Everton appear to be ready to make a steal this summer and sign Wilfried Zaha from Crystal Palace.

The report also notes that Arsenal could be in the race to sign Malcom, too, but they are considered the  favorite to sign Nicolas Pepe from Lille, making a move for the Brazilian very difficult for them.

A dark horse destination for Malcom could be Napoli, who have increased their interest in the 22-year-old after James Rodriguez talks stalled.

Contrary to what happens in the rest of Europe, the summer transfer window closes earlier in England, so both Arsenal and Everton would have to move fast if they want to pull off a move for Malcom. Dortmund and Napoli will have a bigger advantage there, as they will have until September to complete a deal for the youngster.
