Manchester United are not backing down this summer. They are keen to recover their position both in England and abroad next season, and given their recent moves and the ones they’re planning on doing, things look very promising for the Red Devils.

The English giants have apparently made a €50 million offer to the Eredivisie champions Ajax in an initial move to sign Brazil international David Neres ahead of the new season. Neres has been one of the best players for the Lancers in the last couple of seasons, drawing a lot of attention from several clubs across Europe.

Although United are focused on other moves, Yahoo Sports report that the Red Devils placed a bid of €50 million to persuade Ajax to part ways with the Brazilian winger.

It’s believed that the offer actually helped United to engage talks with the Dutch side, but it is still ‘low’ considering that Ajax’s asking price is €70 million. They are looking for a right-winger at this moment, but they are also very busy trying to finalize a swap deal involving Paulo Dybala and Romelu Lukaku.

Still, they must feel lucky and confident that they can get a deal completed for all their targets this summer. They are on the verge of signing Dybala, have apparently secured a deal for Harry Maguire and before that they got Daniel James and Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer admitted that the club would try to sign ‘at least four more players’ following Wan-Bissaka’s arrival in Old Trafford, and Neres, Dybala and Maguire can be three of those four signings. Besides, they have been interested in signing a midfielder, with one of Sergej Milinkovic-Savic, Christian Eriksen and Bruno Fernandes thought to be making his way to Manchester shortly.
