Gary Neville has no chill when it comes to Manchester United, as he demands nothing but top-notch professionalism and commitment from the team’s players.

Hence, it looks like he wasn’t quite fond of Romelu Lukaku, as he forced a move out of the team by deciding to stay put at Belgium and wait until the team figures out a way to move him to the Italian Serie A.

And now that it looks like the Red Devils have finally agreed on an €80 million transaction to make him Internazionale’s newest signing, Neville took it to Twitter to let everybody know a piece of his mind about him.

“He admitted he was overweight! He is over 100kg! He’s a Manchester United player! He will score goals and do well at Inter Milan but unprofessionalism is contagious,” Neville replied a tweet that talked about the high hopes everybody had when Lukaku first signed for the Red Devils a couple of seasons ago.

Lukaku is – in fact – a big man and that was one of his most impressive features when he was a still a teenager at Anderlecht before making it to the English Premier League.

However, it looks like either Neville knows something the rest of us don’t or that he’s just not a fan of big-framed players, as he suggested Lukaku’s work ethic wasn’t the best.

The Belgian striker wasn’t as prolific as expected last season, scoring just 12 goals and struggling to adapt to Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s system.

Moreover, with Marcus Rashford stepping up as the team’s main weapon, Lukaku had to take a step back and grew frustrated about the lack of playing time.

Now, he’ll join Antonio Conte’s Inter and will fulfill his dream of playing at the Serie A, while United will try to sign a new striker before the transfer window closes at 5 pm British time.
