Real Madrid have been struggling this pre-season and that is starting to make their fans worried, with some wondering what this team needs to do to recover their old form. Now they are planning to make big decisions in the next days trying to improve their current situation.

Albeit they added five players to their ranks this summer, Zinedine Zidane and his staff have been unable to get the best of this team. Los Blancos are currently working to sell some players to balance the books after spending over €300 million in transfers, but that’s not it, as they could also send one of those transfers to another team.

Luka Jovic has been linked with a move away from Madrid by two major newspapers in his country, a little over just two months after he landed in the Santiago Bernabeu for a €60 million transfer from Eintracht Frankfurt. Last season he became one of the most promising strikers in Europe, which attracted a lot of attention to him from some of the best European clubs. He scored 25 goals for Frankfurt and helped the club reach the semi-finals of the Europa League.

The new La Liga season is about to start, with Jovic ready to compete in an official match with the club, but he’s already facing problems as Marca shares reports from Serbia claiming that Luka has failed to convince Real boss Zinedine Zidane. That report suggests that he can be sent out on loan.

But, Marca itself states that Jovic has no intention of leaving the club this early and is ‘convinced’ he will begin scoring goals. He put the blame for his disappointing pre-season on an early injury.

Despite having added very good players this summer, Madrid haven’t had the best pre-seasons of all, winning just two games of their seven friendlies, against Fenerbahce and Red Bull Salzburg, respectively. Things aren’t going the best way for the club since last season, and Zinedine Zidane will have a bad time if things don’t turn around shortly.
