Juventus keep surprising everybody this summer, and they apparently will continue their practices. After being linked with moves for Paris Saint-Germain’s Neymar and Internazionale’s Mauro Icardi, the Old Lady is now lining up an unexpected move for Barcelona’s Luis Suarez.
Just like they were planning to do with Neymar and Icardi, Juve might be using Paulo Dybala as part of a deal for the Uruguayan striker, who recently was rumored to be making his way out of the Camp Nou in order to help Barcelona raise funds to pursue Neymar.
However, now Tuttosport (via Football Italia) claim that the Serie A champions are weighing a sensational deal to bring the former Liverpool, Ajax forward to Turin in a swap move with Dybala. This news comes after Juve’s sporting director Fabio Paratici attended a summit in Spain and met with Blaugrana chiefs on Monday evening.
Several things were discussed over a variety of player deals, including Juventus’ interest in Barça’s Juan Miranda, a move that was rejected by the La Liga champions, with Daniele Rugani as a makeweight, while Barca expressed an interest in Mario Mandzukic.
With the arrival of Antoine Griezzman, some people have started to wonder what’s going to happen with Suarez in the future, as he’s 32 and not as mobile as the rest of attackers Barcelona have within the ranks. With the possible return of Neymar to the Camp Nou, it looks like Suarez will be the most likely candidate to leave the club.
Seeing the difference of age between Suarez and Dybala, Juventus also would like to receive some cash with the player. According to reports, the Italian giants have made a bid to steal Neymar from Real Madrid and Barcelona after offering Dybala plus €100 million for the Brazilian star, but now it looks like the Zebras have different plans.
