Anthony Davis joined LeBron James, the Los Angeles Lakers this summer to create one of the best duos around the NBA. These two stars are set to take it all next season, in a Western Conference full of competitive teams that will try to beat the Lakers and their city Rivals, the Clippers on their way to the Finals.

Their time together begins in one month when training camp officially opens, and James looks excited to get to work with his new teammate.

AD, LeBron took part in a practice game on Sunday with a few members of the Klutch team at the Lakers’ training facility in El Segundo. After the workout, the 3-time NBA champion made it clear that he and Davis are going to get the best out of one another in the coming season (via Silver Screen and Roll):

Davis is without any hesitation a great addition for the Lakers. He was great with his former team, the New Orleans Pelicans, posting impressive numbers in Nola, being considered one of the best players on earth right now.

Last season he averaged 29.1 points on 51.7 percent shooting from the field (33.1 percent from beyond the arc), 12.0 rebounds, 3.9 assists, 2.4 blocks and 1.6 steals in 33.0 minutes per game.

The Brow is also ready to take the Purple and Gold to the top of the league next season. Davis says he loves the Southern California area:

“The weather is amazing. The city fits me,” Davis told the Los Angeles Times after joining the Lakers. “It’s more slow motion, and that’s kind of how I am. … I live out here in the summers. L.A. is one of my favorite cities. I love to live here.”

Having these two on the roster makes the Lakers a team to be scared of for the upcoming season. AD and Bron are ready to win it all in a stacked Western Conference that will feature some impressive teams.
