The Ball family has seemingly taken a sabbatical from their usual antics as esteemed son Lonzo adjusts to his new environment with the Pelicans.
While it may seem permanent, don’t expect silence from the family for too much longer.
Not only is LaMelo on his way to the league, but several doors may have opened for LiAngelo as well — at least, that’s what he said on the latest episode of Ball In The Family:

Summer League invites are far from being a guaranteed NBA roster spot. But for a guy like Gelo (troubled past, unproven game), that’s about the best he could hope for.
After spending some time overseas, LiAngelo had to undergo ankle surgery that eliminated him from competing in the league this summer. His path to the NBA has been unclear since he was caught shoplifting in China and, consequently, forced out of school.
The Nets, Heat, and Thunder are said to be amongst those interested. But we will see if their interest remains through this next season when a new class of young stars becomes available.
