The Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Clippers are seen by many fans across the NBA as the biggest favorites to win the championship next year. These two franchises had a very entertaining offseason, landing some big players that will take their game to the next level.
Not only fans think they have everything to be champions next year, but analysts and even players, too. That’s the case of Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade, who thinks both Angelenos teams have the tools to become NBA champions next June. The Lakers have LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading the charge, while the Clippers are led by Kawhi Leonard and Paul George.
During a recent Q&A session on Twitter, Wade discussed a variety of topics, including who he believed was going to win the NBA championship next year. When asked who was going to win it all this season, his response was short and simple:
have NO idea but I believe the winner will come out of LA 🤷🏾♂️ https://t.co/OJFzvST5Fl

“have NO idea but I believe the winner will come out of LA,” he said.
With the addition of Anthony Davis, LeBron James and the Lakers inscribed their name on the list of candidates. The Clippers made sure to land two big stars in Paul George and Kawhi Leonard, becoming instant contenders.
As for Wade’s Miami Heat, they made some splash during the offseason, signing Jimmy Butler from the Philadelphia 76ers. They are good to be playoffs contender, but nobody actually expects the Heat to win the NBA title.
