Zion Williamson is expected to become a huge star in the NBA, and it’s fair to say that he picked the right path. Williamson recently showed us that his talents and strength are good for basketball and not other sports.
For instance, Zion’s talents on the court don’t translate to the golf course. The 2019 No. 1 overall draft pick hit the course on Friday with members of the Pelicans for an annual golf outing.
The Pelicans posted a video on Twitter in which Zion appeared practicing his golf swing. We learned that he needs to practice a lot more.
“He literally broke the club!”

Everything was good, but when Zion’s turn to hit the ball came, things got out of control. The former Duke player swung just a bit too hard, breaking the club. The head went flying while everybody looked shocked at Zion and what he just did.
Despite the mistake, Williamson still got some credit for his swing on social media.
Form is good tho… https://t.co/55mndoS5Yc

Luckily for him, his future is on the hardwood and not the golf course. He’s making his debut in the league this season and one imagines he expects to destroy rivals just like he destroyed that golf club.
