Recently, rumors of Giannis Antetokounmpo’s possible interest in joining the Warriors have captivated the headlines — with people calculating and gathering evidence to either support or shoot down the idea.

Today, it seems one such piece of evidence has added fuel to the “Giannis in Golden State” camp. It comes from All-Star game footage, in which the Greek Freak praised Steph and his team for their playstyle, admitting that it looked like a lot of fun.

Anybody in their right mind would tell you that the Warriors play a special brand of basketball. Selflessness, togetherness, and trust are shown in their pass-and-shoot, “next man up” system. But where does Giannis fit into all of that?

The Greek Freak has expressed his loyalty to Milwaukee already — several times in fact — but circumstances change, and Giannis has admitted before that he likes the way Golden State does things. At the very least, we know the Warriors would love to have him. Rumors indicate that they are targetting him in the summer of ’21.

One would think that he would thrive in that system, just like anyone would. But is he willing to sacrifice his loyalties to get there?
