Even though they lost big pieces in the offseason, the Golden State Warriors look confident ahead of a new season that will bring many changes for them. The Dubs don’t seem to be bothered about it and have started to work to come back to the Finals for the sixth consecutive season.

Moreover, the Warriors’ shooting guard Klay Thomspon doesn’t think it’s right to count them out just yet. During an event by the Thompson Family Foundation, the Splash Brother declared that the dynasty isn’t over.

“Go Dubs! The dynasty ain’t over,” he appears saying on a video.

Even though it’s good to see Klay Thompson, who will be sidelined for a big chunk of the season, having great expectations for his team next season, the picture doesn’t look that favorable for the Warriors.

They acquired D’Angelo Russell from the Brooklyn Nets but also lost Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston, three players who helped them to create the dynasty that has apparently died now. They still have Stephen Curry and Draymond Green, two players who can help them remain afloat while Klay makes his comeback.

Many people point out that this core is the same they had before Kevin Durant signed with them, so the dynasty might not be over after all. Yet, the league is not the same as three years ago, and things look very complicated for the Warriors.
