Draymond Green is well known for speaking his mind on any matter. The Golden State Warriors star is one of the most outspoken players on the team, and we have seen yet another proof of his honesty.
During the Warriors’ media day on Monday, Green didn’t hold anything back, opening up about the people who are claiming that the Warriors are no longer championship contenders. Green turned down all those comments, saying he doesn’t care about what they say because most of them don’t know basketball.

This offseason was full of changes for the Dubs, who saw Kevin Durant, Andre Iguodala and Shaun Livingston depart. Still, they managed to bring a couple of good pieces that will take them to qualify to the playoffs next campaign. However, fans and analysts think the Warriors dynasty is over, even if they made good additions in the summer.
Furthermore, Klay Thompson is not expected to return until late March next year, which will hurt the Warriors’ level for the most part of the 2019/20 campaign. Nevertheless, they still have Stephen Curry, who is expected to have an MVP-caliber season, and Green, who has been one of the best defensive players in the league in recent years.
They also brought D’Angelo Russell, a young player who became an All-Star last season. All these three will have the responsibility to take the Warriors to compete for the title next year, but they don’t look as strong as they were during the last five years.
