Fadeaway World

It’s not a secret that Manchester United are going through a crisis right now, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been unable to get the best performances out of his players. This is why the Red Devils are already planning what they’re going to do in the upcoming transfer windows, with several players linked with them in recent hours.

Right now Manchester have a lot of players on their radar, from exciting young players to big stars, to veterans. They are ready to go all in to bolster their ranks and now we’ll take a look at some of the names they could be landing in the next couple of months.

Here are the latest transfer rumors regarding Manchester United, featuring Mario Mandzukic, Neymar and Ivan Rakitic.

Their defense hasn’t been the best in recent times, which is why they are readying a move for Benfica defender Ruben Dias, one of the most exciting and sought-after players this summer. Dias was followed by plenty of teams last summer transfer window, and even United tried their luck, but all their moves were shut down by Benfica.

Now, according to The Sun, they are poised to push for Dias again in a move that would cost them up to £80 million to lure the Portuguese center-back to Old Trafford. However, Benfica are keen to retain Dias and are planning to offer him a new deal to prevent United from stealing their starlet.

Mario Mandzukic has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford a couple of months now, but that never materialized, leaving the Croatian striker in Juventus. Yet, it looks like Mandzukic will finally find his way to Manchester next January since a ‘verbal agreement’ was reached between the player and the club.

According to Tuttosport, as relayed by the Mirror, the player’s camp reached an agreement with United that will see Mario joining them at the turn of the year. Last year was great for him with Juventus, but this one has been very different, as Paulo Dybala, Cristiano Ronaldo and Gonzalo Higuain has been getting more action than him. Manchester are struggling with their strikers, so this move could be a win-win for both parties.

They are also keen to make a double transfer swoop for Leicester City duo James Maddison and Ben Chilwell. These moves could happen next January, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is tipped to turn things around with Manchester.

As per The Sun, they have identified Maddison and Chilwell as prime targets for the January window. However, this move won’t come as cheap as they’d like, as any potential deal for the Foxes duo, who are both 22, could cost the club up to £130million.

Chevrolet Ready To Pay $200M To Help Fund Potential Neymar Move

This is a move as surprising as interesting for the Red Devils. It was reported that they actually thought about signing Neymar and Paris Saint-Germain tried to offer the Brazilian in exchange for Paul Pogba, but they dismissed that deal.

Now, it looks like Manchester will get help to fund a potential move for Neymar, who stayed in PSG this season after several months linked with a move to Barcelona. To make this happen, the English giants would receive an extra $200 million from sponsor Chevrolet, according to a report from NBC. If they can pull off this move, Solskjaer’s life will be a lot easier.

Manchester To Battle Inter, Juventus For Ivan Rakitic Signature

This guy was also linked with Manchester in the past, but now they have competition for his signature. Internazionale and Juventus have signed their names on the list of suitors for Rakitic, who hasn’t gotten a lot of opportunities with Barcelona recently.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Inter are the frontrunners to get Rakitic’s signature, something that has prompted the likes of Manchester United and Juventus to make enquiries about the midfielder. Reports claim he’s Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s wishlist once the transfer window reopens, seeing the lack of depth they have on the midfield.
