Juventus are reportedly readying moves for two Chelsea stars, as Maurizio Sarri is keen to reunite with his former players at the Allianz Stadium. The Italian boss spent just one season in charge of the Blues before moving on this past summer and taking over at Juventus.
Now, according to reports from Italy, the Italian giants are considering moves for Chelsea duo Emerson Palmieri and N’Golo Kante to reunite them with Maurizio Sarri.
This season started pretty good for Juve, who are the current Serie A leaders and have made a strong start in the Champions League as well. However, the Zebras are looking to bolster their squad, with Sarri eager to reunite with two familiar faces from his time at Stamford Bridge. As reported by Calciomercato, via Il Bianconero.com, it has been suggested that Juventus are preparing moves for Palmieri and Kante.
These two players are very important for Frank Lampard’s side, so it would be a hard job to carry out for the Old Lady. Moreover, it’s reported that Emerson is actually negotiating a new deal with Chelsea, while Kante is considered as non-transferable by the Premier League side.
It would be interesting how Juventus can pull off these moves, but that scenario looks very complex right now. Nevertheless, both Palmieri and Kante have been linked with more teams besides Juventus, so it wouldn’t be a shock if we see them going to play with a different side.
Kante has been drawing a lot of attention in recent times, so Chelsea might be unable to retain the French midfielder for much time.
