Anthony Davis has given a major hint to the Chicago Bulls fans, as the Los Angeles Lakers big man left the door open for a potential return to his hometown. The Lakers will face the Bulls on Tuesday and the media took advantage of that to ask Davis several questions related to his future in the league.
It’s not a secret that Chicago is a special place for the Brow, but his response, when asked about the possibility of joining the Bulls, was more than interesting.
“I mean, I am a free agent next year … but we will see,” Davis said when asked about his future and the possibility of playing for the six-time NBA champions.

That must give some hope to the fans. Even though it looks like Davis will sign a new contract with the Lakers once free agency opens next July, he seems to be keeping his options open.
He also talked about Chicago being the Mecca of the basketball world, noting that the city boasts the greatest player of all-time, Michael Jordan.
“It is. We’ve got the best basketball players ever. You look at the history with all the guys we’ve got that made the league and even the guys that didn’t make the league. They say New York, but it’s not even close.”

After the good words he had towards the Bulls, Davis is ready to lead his current team to beat Chicago Tuesday night. In six games, AD is averaging 28.5 points, 11.5 rebounds, and 3.0 blocks while shooting 47% from the field.
