Erling Haaland has had a terrific start to the 2019/20 season, as the young striker has turned a lot of heads to him with his displays with Red Bull Salzburg. Haaland is followed by a host of Euro giants and his future may well be out of Austria.
However, now the clubs trying to land his signature might have to wait before putting their hands on the 19-year-old. According to Sky Sports, Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal, Real Madrid, Juventus and Barcelona among others will have to wait to make a move for the starlet.
These are some of the best clubs in Europe, but they will need to be patient to lure the prolific young striker.
Haaland’s valuation has rocketed beyond £80 million following his 23 goals in 17 appearances to his name so far this season. Sky understands that Haaland will certainly leave his side next summer, but to stay affiliated to Red Bull and join Bundesliga outfit RB Leipzig.
Just like the rest of Europe, Leipzig’s boss Julian Nagelsmann is a known fan of the Norwegian, as he sees him as a perfect fit in the youngest squad in the Bundesliga. This is a player that surprised everybody this season and seeing his potential, it’s not a shock if we see some of the best outfits around Europe ready to battle for him.
There is still time until next summer transfer window, but right now it looks like these teams will have to wait before they make Haaland one of their players.
