Hayward and the Celtics were balling through the first seven games of the season. This season, he’s averaging 20 points, 7.9 rebounds, and 4.6 assists on 56% shooting. After seven seasons with the Jazz, he signed with the Celtics in 2017 hoping for a chance to compete for the Championship.
The night of his debut, he broke his leg in a gruesome injury that cost him the entirety of the 2017-18 season.
After struggling that next season, the community was excited to see Hayward finally hit his groove in the NBA. Obviously, we are all wishing him a speedy and successful recovery.
