Lionel Messi has apparently asked Barcelona to sign three players to strengthen the squad. Messi is trying to convince Barcelona to spend €370 million in a talented trio that will take Ernesto Valverde’s side to the next level.
Reports from Spain suggest the Argentinian talisman has urged Barca to sign Neymar, Milan Skriniar and Joshua Kimmich as soon as possible in order to add some serious quality and depth to the club’s ranks.
According to Diario Gol, Messi asked the club to bring in a number of players in order to improve Barca’s current squad so they can compete for the Champions League.
The reports notes Messi has specifically asked for these players, who would boost their level as soon as they land in the Camp Nou. Goal reported earlier this summer that PSG are after as much as €250 million to part ways with Neymar, while Kimmich would cost around €60 million, as per Don Balon, with Skriniar set to cost another €60 million according to Transfermarkt.
It remains to be seen if Barcelona will have €370 million to spend in three players, especially knowing how much they’ve spent on players like Philippe Coutinho, Ousmane Dembele and Antoine Griezmann in recent seasons.
Neymar is one of the best attackers in football and his return to the Camp Nou would bolster Valverde’s options upfront. Kimmich is widely considered the best right-back in the world right now, so there is no doubt his addition would take this team to a different dimension. As for Skriniar, he has established himself as one of the best center-backs in Italy with Inter, which makes him a very good target for the Blaugrana.
