Manchester United have been linked with several players in recent times, but now the Red Devils could see one of their biggest figures depart in exchange for another world-class asset. United are reportedly open to letting Paul Pogba leave for Juventus in a swap deal transfer that would involve either Cristiano Ronaldo or Paulo Dybala.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side looks ready to engage talks about a potential Paul Pogba’s departure as long as they receive the right amount of money, as well as a player coming to Old Trafford in return.
Following a poor start to the season, Cristiano Ronaldo could be sold by Juventus, especially after his recent performances with the Bianconeri and the episode he starred this Sunday against AC Milan when the Portuguese was subbed off again by Maurizio Sarri.
According to Don Balon, the Portugal international is also open to leaving the Italian giants and could be keen on a return to former club Manchester United. This would be huge for Manchester if they could pull it off, though they should perhaps be cautious about the emotive move of re-signing a former star.
He’s turning 35 in December and already looks to be struggling in Serie A, so playing in a harder league like the Premier League wouldn’t be a smart decision for him.
Still, United’s fans would love to see one of their best players ever making a return to Old Trafford. Besides Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala could be an option for Manchester, as per DB, if that means parting ways with Paul Pogba.
Dybala could be a great option to bolster Solskjaer’s attacking options, so United have a great opportunity in their hands.
